The dress code is black tie preferred. Gentlemen can wear a tuxedo or black suit and tie.
Ladies can wear ankle or floor length dresses or separates. Florals and pastels are welcome. No cocktail attire, please.
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation to the D.C. War Memorial - as well as to and from Rose’s Luxury - will be provided from the Homewood Suites. There is a short walk from where shuttles will drop off to the Memorial, so plan to wear appropriate footwear. Please plan to arrive at the ceremony no later than 2:15PM. Please check the "Travel" section for a detailed shuttle schedule.
Where can we go between the ceremony and reception?
The Homewood Suites has a beautiful rooftop overlooking Navy Yard, which is open daily until 10 P.M. Additionally, we have recommendations for our favorite bars and breweries under the "Things to Do" tab. We recommend using the time to relax and grab a drink!
Is there parking available at the ceremony/reception?
There is no parking near the ceremony space and very limited street parking near the reception space. Please take advantage of the provided transportation on wedding day. We recommend using Uber, Lyft, or the Metro throughout the weekend for convenience.
Can I bring a guest?
Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited. If you received a plus one, their name will be on the save the date and the wedding invitation.
Are children welcome at the wedding?
Although we love your little ones, we are not able to accommodate children at the wedding. We hope this advance notice allows you to share in our big day.
